No one should have to endure what Maria Bradshaw and many other parents have endured. It’s heart wrenching, a mother’s worst nightmare really, but somehow Maria has found the strength to carry on. I don’t think she will stop doing what she is doing until there is a change in New Zealand – a change that will see an end to prescribing psychotropic drugs to their children.
CASPER was established by two mothers whose children died by suicide, one of those moms being Maria Bradshaw. The group believes that the knowledge and experience of families bereaved by suicide is as valid and important in understanding and preventing suicide as clinical trial data and epidemiological studies.
Casper believes that the current suicide prevention strategies do not, and can not, work and they work diligently to put an end to psychotropic drugging of New Zealanders.
Hats off to you Maria and all the people who help and support you.
Brilliant blog name – I wish i had thought of it
Thank you Neil. It’s an appropriate name for this type of ‘medication’.
